The Project
T-Tactic @ school stands for “Transfer of tools for managing and mentoring the international work placements to guarantee the recognition of the competences acquired and the quality of the learning process in the school system. The project is based on the needs of the Secondary Schools and Vocational Training Centres to benefit from a strategy, systems and tools for managing and mentoring international work placements as well as for recognising, certifying and validating the competences acquired by the students during the international mobility project.
The project will adapt and transfer to the School System the TACTIC manual.

Aims:
The main aims of the project are to equip Secondary Schools and Vocational Training centres with competences and tools to manage and mentor international work placements experiences, integrated with their curricular activities; with competences and tools to recognise, certify  and validate competences acquired by the participants to the  international mobility project.

Expected products:

  • Adaptation and management of the tactic website
  • Elaboration of the quality management plan
  • T-Tactic @ school manual adapted and translated into ITALIAN, ENGLISH, GERMAN, FRENCH, PORTUGUESE, SPANISH
  • Adaptation of the e-portfolio for the certification of the competences acquired in a mobility project (from ICTSKILLS project) in links with the new version  of the EUROPASS mobility certificate
  • 4200 CDROM of the manual and tools
  • 26 meetings organised by the 13 partners (2 meetings organised by each partner)  to inform  the potential users of the manual
  • 9 training courses for the users of the manual in the countries which are T-Tactic @ school partners
  • Distance learning modules of the users throughout moodle platform in Italian and English
  • KIT on how to use the manual which includes study cases in Italian and English
  • Coaching of the users throughout moodle platform in ITALIAN, ENGLISH, GERMAN, FRENCH, PORTUGUESE, SPANISH
  • Intermediary and final evaluation of the project, process, products

The manual that T-Tactic @ Schools will transfer and adapt is based on a previous project, TACTIC.


The main aim of the TACTIC project was to define a common code of conduct in managing and mentoring work placement experiences with an international dimension, disseminating and exploiting existing good practices and tools among the partners of the consortium and among all the new users or promoters/hosting partners interested in improving the quality of their work and in sharing their experiences in order to develop and guarantee the recognition of the competences acquired.

New project to focus on the impact of mobility!

The past 24th and 25th of January, 2014, the consortium of the MOB G.A.E. project celebrated its Kick-Off meeting. The 2 year project, co-funded by the European Union, aims to evaluate and disseminate the impact of international mobility experiences in the personal and professional lives of  former participants and organisations/people dealing with mobility.

T-Tactic@school project completed!

The T-Tactic@school project offiically ended at the end of September 2013.  However, the T-Tactic@school consortium continues to implement the manual within its daily work and among its network of partners. Also, the T-Tactic@school Manual and useful annexes can be downloaded for free in The Manual section of the website.
